Note about poster image:
For the design, A flower is centred in poster, the vertical stem of flower reveals a guitar fretboard, while the petals reveal a white dove/bird flying upwards. Type is set in GrandCentral, “a typeface inspired by hand-painted capitals from the late 1920s on the walls of Grand Central Station”, I really like the “RA” ligature too in the typeface. The blue is a reference to “boxcar blue” and the choice of typeface is a nod to “Empty Trainload of Sky”, similarly the lyric was also the starting point to the image: “For a moment I was tempted to fly / To the Devil or the Lord” and “Was it spirit? Was it solid?”.
