2-colour screenprint poster edition for Gilla Band’s concert at Dolan’s Warehouse, Limerick on 1st May 2022, with Pretty Happy, presented by Seoda Shows. The poster is a 2-colour screen print (red, cyan) hand-printed at Cork Printmakers on munken polar 300gm paper stock, made in an edition of 50 signed and numbered prints.

The poster depicts an image of a flyswatter centered in the poster. The reason for the flyswatter itself is taken from the lyrics to “Couch Combover” (from “The Talkies”, Rough Trade) together with the fact that the flyswatter also resembles a microphone (the cover image for LCD Soundsystem’s “Shut Up And Play The Hits” film poster or 1978’s Cluster & Eno LP – as well as the lyrics “I ended up alone at the microphone” from Neil Young’s “On The Beach” – also came to mind).
